Nora Chavooshian studied sculpture at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the San Francisco Art Institute.
After graduating the Art Institute in 1974, she moved to Los Angeles. While continuing her artistry as a sculptor, she worked as an award-winning stage designer, designing massive sculptural sets.
